Y., April 30. — James Cox Bradys Artismo was the star of the workout session on the main track here this morning. The stakes-winning son of Goya n., who is slated to start in Saturdays Roseben Handicap, skipped the distance of that fixture in 1:28 over a sloppy strip. Artismo wore blinkers this morning and ripped off the fractions in :48, 1:00% and 1:14. Eddie Arcarp, who is exercising himself as much as he is his mounts these mornings, piloted Claiborne Farms Courtesy an impressive mile in 1:40. The filly, who worked alone, stepped the fractions in :36, :4B and 1:13%. George D. Wideners Evening Out, who has been on the sidelines for several months, completely outworked her stable-mate, the useful Rare Treat, this morning. Evening Out broke several lengths behind Rare Treat, then easily passed her while getting six furlongs in 1:13%. Rare Treat was clocked a second slower. Another distaff, runner to work cleverly this morning was Calumet Farms star filly, Miz Clementine, who breezed an easy six furlongs in 1:16 under light restraint.
