Souchak and Boros Accept Bids to New York Tourney NEW YORK, N. Y., May 3 UP.— Mike Souchak, leading money winner on the golf trail, and former U. S. Open champion Julius Boros accepted invitations today to play in the Palm Beach Round-Robin tournament at Great Neck, N. Y., June 1 to 5. Souchak, 27-year-old former Duke University football player, has won a total of 4,648.74 so far this season. Boros, who won the Open in 1952, ranks 15th on the money-winning list. In all, 10 players have been chosen for the tournament field which eventually will number 16. Previously selected were defending -champion Sam Snead, Masters champion Cary Middlecof f , Peter Thomson of Australia, Chick Harbert, Lloyd Man-grum, Gene Littler, Jackie Burke and Marty Furgol.
