Stewards Rulings FORT MIAMI, Maumee, Ohio, May 3.— The stewards here today issued the following, ruling : "For appearing on the grounds and in the paddock area in a stupefied and almost helpless intoxicated condition, jockey R. J. Ross is hereby suspended for the balance of this meeting and denied the privileges of the course at all times, and his case referred to the Ohio Racing Commission. Due to this being habitual, it is the recommendation of the stewards that jockey R. K. Ross license as a jockey be revoked." WHEELING DOWNS, Wheeling, W. Va., May 3. — The stewards issued the following rulings here today: "Jockey Francisco Saumell is suspended for five racing days for crowding the field leaving the gate in the first race astride Fajaki this date. "Jockey Vince Bracciale is suspended for five racing days for crowding horses leaving the gate in the first race astride Highland Mary this date." ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, ,May 3. — The Ascot Park stewards issued the following ruling here today: "For crowding horses on the inside, leaving the gate and going to the turn„ in the third race May 2, apprentice jockey Jean Trochet is suspended for five days, May 5 to May 10, inclusive." RILLITO PARK, Tucson, Ariz., May 3. — The stewards issued the following ruling: "For conduct detrimental to the best • interests of racing, owner-trainer Mary M. Nelson, has been suspended for the balance of this meeting, with the recommendation to the Arizona Racing Commission that her license be revoked." GOLDEN GATE FIELDS, Albany, Calif., May 3. — The board of stewards today handed, down the following ruling: Tor crowding .horses soon after the start of the second race May 2, apprentice Leroy Nelson, who rode Tesdan, is fined the sum of 00.00"
