Brooklyn Signs Missouri Player to Bonus Contrast - COLUMBIA, Mo., May 31 UP.— Todd Sickel, University of Missouri shortstop, hasjsigned a ,000 bonus contract with the Brooklyn Dodgers, it was announced today. Sickel a junior from Kansas City, was the second Missouri player to* sign wuth a major league club since the season ended Saturday. Jerry Schoonmanker signed a 0,000 bonus contract with Washington. Scout Bert Wills signed Sickel, who passed up his senior year of eligibility for the bonus. A third baseman until mid-season, he batted .363 last year, but dropped to .282 this past season.
