Ak-Sar-Ben Reports Gains In Mutuel Handle, Attendance AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 27. The Ak-Sar-Ben meeting, which ends Monday, July 4, continues to show an increase in both mutuel handle and attendance after the first six weeks of the seven-week meeting. J. J. Isaacson, Ak-Sar-Ben general manager, said the handle shows a nine per cent increase over the business for the same period of 1954. The daily average this year is 55,000 against 16,000 last year. Attendance figures show a similar increase with a daily average of 9,729 persons passing through the turnstiles. JLast year the daily average was 8,863. Isaacson said the increase is 9.7 per cent over the same period last year.
