Seventeen Calumet Horses Arrive at Arlington Park WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, III., June 5. Seventeen Calumet Farm thoroughbreds, including stable stars Bards-town and Gen. Duke, checked into the Arlington Park stable area this afternoon and immediately began preparations for Arlington Parks summer meeting, which vepens June 17. The Calumet contingent arrived via tram from New Jersey and was bedded down by three stable assistants in the absence of trainer H. A. "Jimmy" Jones. The draft also included the crack sprinter, Trentonian, well-regarded three-year-old Crossland, and once highly regarded Pintor Lea. The speedy Miss Ar-lette, also was among the Calumet horses.
