TINKS CHOICE headed FLIRTISSIMO around the far turn to open up a good lead and then saved ground in the stretch to win under urging. PIGEROBE was outrun to the stretch, then came fast and was gaining. FLIRTISSIMO raced fairly well after being headed. BONGO BONGO saved ground in the stretch but faltered near the finish. DUSTY DRIVE was off poorly and closed considerable ground in a strong effort. POOR JOHN was a solid contender to the last sixteenth where he began to weaken. BOTON, off slowly, soonr raced to contention on the inside, then dropped back again but came again slightly near the finish. ROYAL BRASS stopped badly. SURRY was outrun for a half-mile, then came very fast on the outside to catch ICE TEA in the last thirty yards and yvin going away. ICE TEA was unable to keep up with the pace but came around the early leaders on the stretch turn to take command entering the last sixteenth, then held on well. COSMIC VICTORY, outrun early, got through an opening between horses near the end to finish strongly. FIRST MON got to the front an eighth out but was not good enough. ROYAL MICHE went to the front soon after the start and, showing good speed while being well rated pulled away -when ready in the stretch and was an easy winner. SMOKE SIGNAL was well up from the start and made a good run through the stretch but was unable to seriously threaten the winner. STAGE TRACER came fast through the stretch. ALLHONEY was closest to ROYAL MICHE until well into the stretch and then weakened. DOUBLE W. was never a serious threat. ORIENNE weakened. BOLANDA threw her head in the air after the start and dropped out of it but raced well thereafter. BELAMBER was always outrun. The latter made a courageous run through the stretch in a good effort. TREMOR seemed to be in tight quarters on the inside around the far turn. BLUE VOLT moved up nearing the stretch turn but lacked his usual finishing strength. BERNBURGOO failed to offer a serious threat. BLUE DAGGER was always well up and bested FARO BANK narrow!/ in the final drive. FARO BANK raced on virtually equal terms with BLUE DAGGER throughout and just missed second place. COBBER failed to offer a threat although finishing well. NIRAL made a promising move nearing the "stretch turn "and theri faltered. JUST JUDY was always outrun.
