THE KEY TO TURF SUCCESS About August 10 DAILY RACING FORM Publish ¬ ing King Co will issue a book that will give the racing public more information than it ever had before The volume will be of pocket size and built for long and hard use on linen paper and within flexible leather covers It will be copy ¬ righted as a book and patented as an appliance to racing DAILY RACING FORM Manual will contain a handicappers table such as is usually foisted on this and that lamb at 50 and 100 We cannot supply a mental key of application Nature is the only doctor in such special cases and it is busy in other lines just now The handicapping table is one of weight applied to distance and time in general use To it will be attached a track speed series of compilations our own It is he result of a years work on average speed at all distances and all American tracks at their best Other conditions are not within tnathofhiatlcs because the complexion of less than perfect going is not figurable figural The Manual will also give the track records of all the American courses book mak make ¬ ing King percentages and an exoerience experience tale by the editor of DAILY RACING FORM on how not to lose on the race track This tale will be a personal one of loss and gain and the avenues through which both came The Manual will not have a large edition Its price will be far below its value Only advance orders will be filled as they come The book will cost 5 and can be dlivered delivered August 12 at the latest All its com ¬ pilations illations will bo intelligent simple and up to date Some dozen subscribers to Leather Form did not call for the books they ordered and did not pay for in advance Orders for the Manual must bo accompanied by the price The book is not for sale by newsdealers newspapers outside Hawley of Cincinnati Jott Jot of St Louis E C Weatherly Weather our San Francisco agent Halle Hale of New Orleans and Dearing Daring of Louisville
