COULTERS THREE ALL FAIL After sweltering in the heat for four races at Lakeside yesterday a welcome cool breeze sprang up and made the rest of the afternoon bearable It was a bad day for the wise ones only one favorite Image in the first race getting there though Walkover opened firstchoico first in the last event eventThe seventh The race of the day was the fourth a mile condition affair in which Eedskin Redskin 117 Assignee 112 and Urania Urbana were carded to meet Assignee declined the contest and Redskin opened favorite at 3 to 5 receding to even money Urania Urbana remained firm at 8 to 5 Glenoid Genocide was off in front to a bad start Soden Sodden almost pulling up Redskin thinking it was no go Urania Urbana at once took the lead and at the quarter had opened up a gap of three lengths with Redskin second and old Glenoid Genocide hanging on to him At the half there was little change and at the threequarters treasurers Unania Nana was three lengths in front of Redskin with the other two out of it especially St Lee who ran badly In the stretch Soden Sodden made his effort on Redskin but he could not get up Urania Urbana winning oasiJy oasis in fast time timeThirteen impenitent Thirteen poor ones of which Image was the best went to the post in the first race Corella Corolla and Image were in front all tha than way the last named winning handily while Corella Corolla just beat Scamp for the place placeLottie Lancelot Lottie Loftier Wimmer Swimmer was the favorite in the first half of the twoyearold toehold race at four and a half furlongs Holv Hove Terror got off in front and never being headed won in a drive from Lottie Loftier Wimmor Swimmer with C H Whelan Wheelman a poor third thirdIn third In view of Onalaskas Koalas last race he was at a false price in the mile event for 3yearolds Dantes Antes the full brother to The Butterflies was a mild favorite backed down from 6 to 3 to 1 Judge Baker followed by Warrick Arrack made the running to the half when Onalaska Koalas took the lead and held it to the end winning easily Bel Belo vour our as usual came very fast in thestretchand theoretician beat Judge Baker for the place Dantes Antes got off badly and was never able to get through the crowd crowdChenille Chenille was the favorite in the second half of the twoyearold toehold race She led into the stretch where Siegfried Sigrid collared her and won handily with Marie C third thirdWalkover Walkover got the best of a very indifferent start in the last race and keeping the advan advance ¬ tage stage to the end won easily from Pinchback Pinchbeck who would have been nearer with an even break breakOougle breakout Oougle Joule Gum have sold to B J Johnson the fouryearold foretold colt Caesarian by Faustus Faust Cleo Leo ¬ patra patria Price private but about 3000 3000Among Among the recent arrivals at Lakeside is the 17000 disappointment Dorian by Sii Simi Modred Molded Glendora Lenora He was bought recently from the Blemton Benton Stable by Mat Foster and is now in Foster Bros Brows stable at the track trackFurr track Furr Furor the Kansas City JQckey Jockey has arrived at Lakeside LakesideJ Lakeside J Murphy the jockey who has gone to New York was ruled off the Indiana tracks for peculiar rides on Siegfried Sigrid Merry Monarch and Urania Urbana
