KANSAS CITY RACING blSPLAY ballplayer The Kansas City meeting has closed for a few weeks on account of hot weather and the scarcity of horses Those on hand were raced too much and there are less in western training this year than usual The rest was well judged Starter Mark J Farley Fairly of the Kansas City Asso Assoc ¬ ciation caption returned from Milwaukee where ho made arrangements to ship three car loads of horses to Kansas City These owners will send horses G Robertson M L Conway David Waldo Weald P Stanton Co G G Moshior Mohair Georgio Georgia Smith and three others E H Mclntyre McIntyre Arthor Arthur Mc Auleji Albeit Chas Cougle Coulee Demirep Demure and Highland Fling and W H Roller The track opens again Saturday September 5 for a fall meeting of indefinite length Bookmakers will be allowed to draw in at 75 per day Purses are to be 700 per day The attendance ana betting at Kansas City this year has been excellent
