OLD CYCLONE CAUSES TROUBLE There was a heavy play yesterday at Ideal Park arid in outside pool rooms on Cyclone to win the fourth race The plunge was so unnat unapt ¬ ural that it aroused suspicion and the judges set out to have the exCanadian exclamation sprinter identi identify ¬ fied field It seems ho was not registered and as no one at the track would vouch for him the judges thought it best not to let Cyclone start and after betting had been in progress for about ten minutes ordered the horse scratched and all bets declared off A J Murphy owner of the horse thought he was being roughly treated but on Cyclones recent races he had no chance to win from the field he was entered The declaring off of bets vas nothing more than protection to the public It is rumored that several Detroit parties were at the track and had bet heavily on the black sprinter Don Fulano Fulani was favorite for the race He could never get near the front and finished a distant fourth to Millie M and Walkover The wiuner winner was heavily played though not by her owner ownerThere converter There was a lot of mystery around May Ash bys bays sudden awakening in the mile race In her previous races she has not been able to beat a cart horse but backed from 50 to 1 to a short price she ran a surprising race Her perform ¬ ance Vance will probably have to stand investigation investigationThe investigation The Kentucky Stable maiden Gasparone Gasper gal ¬ loped away with the first race Whitcomb Witco took the second rather handily and Lew Blew Hopper heavily played won the closing event in a gal ¬ lop The race was run in the dark
