RAIN SPOILS FORSYTH SPORT Yesterdays Forsyth card was spoiled by the declaring off of the seven furlong handicap yet the racing was fairly good over a sticky track It was a good afternoon for the nng Only two favorites Terrific and Uncas won wonTerrific Terrific was the best thing of the meeting and some of the sharpshooters bet on the filly at 4 to 1 She went to the post at even money and never gave her backers a chance to worry getting off with the track and winning all the way wayJ J E Gushing had a good day winning two purses with Miss Hoy and Harry Shannon The big fellow thought well of the two year old and had a bet on her at 3 to 1 She is a sweet article right now oa a soft track and won her race like a lady being in front from flag fall to finish finishHarry Harry Shannon looked to be asked too hard a task but he won just as easily as did the filly Glenmoyne favorite for the race performed badly not being in the first three threeUncas Uncas at odds on beat the flag and won the fifth event off by himself and Buckmore easily landed the hurdle race raceEd Ed Tipton left last night for Lexington Ho has had great success here and will get a lot of horses for the Montana meeting
