PINKEY PINEY POTTERS HARD LUCK Pinkey Pinkeye Potter is earning a place in the hard luck racing brigade He was tipped over again at Ingalls1 Park yesterday in an unexpected way It all came out of the third race a seven furlong dash in which some of the supreme speed of the course was assembled Master Caywood Cawed had the mount on the Texan bred gelding with the homely name The talent reckoned him a good thing Indra Indrawn was the only one backed to beat Cushings Cushing good gelding but the Singerly Gingerly horse was never dangerous A few of the sharpshooters and close form observ observe ¬ ers figured Theresa H having a chance and got as good as 8 to 1 for their money The filly got away well and making all her own running won hard pressed and staggering by a scant length Pinkey Pinkeye Potter was off last and interfered with on the far turn but was coming like a whirl ¬ wind on the end He was the best and would have won in a few more strides stridesAn strides An eight and onehalf Neal furlong condition race
