NO TURF CONGRESS ANABCHY ANARCHY ANABCHYThe Anarchy The newspaper mischief over the few extra Pimlico Pillion days of racing is petering out It will go to vapor when the matter of authority over American racing and territorial conditions is considered This is no period for the mean ¬ nesses of turf politics to be worked out in pub ¬ lic laic The best that can be done for the turf is the duty of the hour East West North and South The man who gets in the way with a grievance is an anarchist and should be sup ¬ pressed in the most decided way There are too many angles to Ajnerican Angelica racing for any one turf body as turf bodies are made up at pres Ypres ¬ ent Kent to rule it The Turf Congress has enough territory of its own to govern It does not in ¬ telligently reliantly rule what is now without dispute within its scope The Jockey Club does The Jockey Club passed on the Pimlico Pillion case and its edict is entitled to deep respect The Jockey Club has proven its fitness to rule its terri ¬ tory by mere performance and can be trusted
