NOTES OF THE TURF TURFA TURF A special note was sent out to betting corners from San Francisco yesterday about the odds over Linstock Flintlock whose post odds were 9 to 20 as printed in DAILY RACING FORM The slap ¬ dash cards which report racing results in a most woeful way quoted Linstock Flintlock at 9 to 10 for the last Ingleside Ingles race of Monday MondayFred Monday Fred Pfeffer Pfeiffer Chicago 111 Col Cool Jack Chinn Chin was the starter The race was the Washington Handicap at Garfield Park September 5 1891 Adalia Aralias won Gorman and Yo Tambien Ambient were left at the post Twelve went to the post Farine Farina was second and Jim Murphy third thirdBob third Bob Tucker is not at all satisfied that Pres Ypres ¬ byterian buttering is the superior of Isabey Isabel and thinks thinksi thinks i the Cumberland Prize will prove this next Sat ¬ urday hurdy He says that in the race for the Crescent City Derby Isabey Isabel was so much interfered with that when the horses started for the run home Presbyterian was fully six lengths to the good of Isabey Isabel and although Isabey Isabel was interfered with and had to pUll around one or two horses he was beaten only a length and a half at the wire This he claims is proof that with a fair field fieldi field i and no interference Isabey Isabel will demonstrate his superiority over Presbyterian
