opening in the stretch and finished like a lion This race sh uld auld sharpen him Cash Day weakened at the very end He is an honest horse and was hard and well ridden Miss Casey looked dangerous in the stretch but died away near the finish She cannot beat Dunois Dubois kind Millie M had a lot of speed but lacked the class to stay when the pinch came Overweights Overweighs cameOverweights Miss Ho got away well and was lucky He seems to be a loafer and Martin had to hustle him sharply through the stretch Judging from the way ho won he is more than an ordi Nordic ¬ nary colt Stamina had a lot of bad luck considering this his performance was above the average Qalathee Althea oil none too well was lucky to get through on the far turn He was carried wide on the stretch turn and lost quite a bit of ground there Tulane ran as if short Ho looked dangerous when straightened away but went to pieces at the finish Watch him Throw Volyo Volvo thens Athens race out She was tangled up at the start and never got straightened out Merops Metros was hard 102Scratched ridden all the way Tulla Tulle FOLSO FOLSOM had early speed Her notch is five furlongs in about 102 Scratched Princess Murphy 108 t O race Ho is a youngster of class and in rare form Burns agrees with the colt He behaved well at the post He could have gone to the front at any time Hardy Pardee Parsee raced well He came with a rush at the end and stood a long drive pamely tamely Ho was interfered with on the far turn but not enough to cause damage Formerq Former off in the rear began slowly He hardly ran his race It was Hollands Holland first siiart similar and he ran a good race Watch him He is well bred and seems to have quality Gold Fox is fast He tired badly in the closing drive King Barleycorn bore in all the way and it was almost im ¬ possible for Turner to keep him off the fence This was nowhere near the colts race and it must be thrown out Lobos had plenty of speed too Watch him Burns pulled up in one of the breakaways spoiling the start and was given a suspension of one week Scratched Olinthus Plinths 118 Ailyar Halyard 118 Jolly Roger 118 Facade 115 OQOpT Coop FOURTH RACE 1 31G Miles 3yearolds and Topmast was best as the race was run Sloan held him far out of it early and used his speed after the leaders had wasted theirsv theirs It was a queerly run race there being little or no pace the early part of it Thore Thorpe was a smart middle half though Button galloped in front all the way but went all to pieces after going about seven furlongs Charley Christy made his run too soon He looked all over a winner 9n the turn but had nothing left to stall off Topmasts rush Al Fresco stopped and came again in the stretch He about ran his race Clawson Lawson was little or no help to Morte Mote Fonse
