Smelter would have won She killed him off early The pace was terrific Mary Black is a speedy filly Roiff Riff used her speed recklessly in the first five furlongs Hindoonet Himont tried to run outin outing the stretch Madrilene Marlene and Meddler both ran good races The latter was raced better than the fig ¬ ures cures show He looked dangerous at the head of the stretch but could not get through
