STAKES FOR HAWTHORNE In the advertising department of DAILY RACING FOKJI FOLK today will be found the con ¬ ditions editions of ten valuable stakes opened by the Chicago Racing Association entries to which close August 4 The names of the events will sound familiar to those who recall the racing of other days over the Hawthorne track They all present an endowment fully up to the standard of the day and such as should and no doubt will secure entries of all the grood rood horses now in Chicago No very great length of time is left in which to make entries but fortunately it is now the time of the year when horses are at their best and owners of well tried material do not have to study long over the problem of what racers in their strings will do to enter for the big events of the turf and selections for entry are easy to make
