horses displayed great gameness and the riding of both boys was excellent David Tenny Teeny being so small a horse and Dr Sheppard unusually largo made the finish all the more spectacular Although the horses heads were onequal unequal terms at the wire Tennys Tennyson hindquarters were seemingly two feet in front of Dr Sheppards Sheppard Uonley Only resorted to foul tacticsat tactics the head of the stretch bearing in on Dr Sheppard This compelled Bloss Loss on the latter to cnange change his whip from his right to his left hand which he did very cleverly Candelaria Candelabra made a strong
