reached and went to the front when ready Lady Callahan got off good had all of her speed I was well ridden and had no excuses She was simply not good enough to beat Lew Blew Hopper today Button never really got on his stride He has developed into a slow beginner and must have a longer route to do his best Inconstancy was an easy third Glenmoyne Lennon disliked the track and seemed to prop all the across on the rail and saved ground throughout When the pinch came he clearly outfinished untarnished Caywood Cawed on Miss Marks The latter was much the best and should have won The boy made his run too soon and instead of skinning the rails on the turn swung wide leaving room for Rio Chico Chic to get through Ram let was running strong at the end She was in a bad pocket the last sixteenth and almost fell at the wire Watch her She seems to be a fair sort of filly Ach Bach had speed but could not stay He stopped on the turn but came again Numa Neumann was in a bad place all through the race but Charina Carina Won hand ridden and out to the last ounce second and third under keen pressure Found was at a false price She got away well on her stride and set a hot pace all the way Below the sixteenth pole Reiff Riff thinking he had the race won became a trifle careless It almost cost him the race Had he gone pn about his business the filly would have won easily The Devil was right there He swerved at the head of the stretch but came on again gamely under hand riding and would have won in a few more strides Storm King stopped under the weight He was hot after Found though the first part of it and the pace was enough to stop almost any horse David Tenny Teeny did his best He does not seem to be in as good form as he was at Washington Park Feivor Fervor dislikes the track He may do better at Hawthorne Charina Carina was outclassed but ran a corking good race She belongs in selling races and is good at that game gameScratched Scratched Dare II 94 94Corrected Corrected weights
