BKHOKLTN JOCKEY CLUB STAKES. I The famous Brooklyn Handicap, rich with mrao ies of such grand racehorses as Dry Moiopole, The Bard, Blue Wing, Exile, Tenny, Badge, Lamplighter, Henry of Navarre, Terra Cotta, Russell, Sir Walter, Lazzarone, Clifford at d Ornament is one of the many importnnt stake offered by the Brooklyn Jockey Club, entries to which will close Monday. The other events to close that day are the Clover, Man-hansett, Hanover and Bedford stakes, for two-j year-olds: the May, Falcon, Broadway and i Preakn ands for 3-year-olds and the Brookdale I Handicap, Parkway Handicap, Myrtle Stakes and Patchoeue Stakes for three-year-olds and upward. Mr. Mclntyre, the accomplished and courteous secretary has a special weakness for western owners and western horses and frames conditions designed to draw as many as may be possiole, there cannot bo too many in his opinion, to the big track by the Kings Highway. No owner, who designs an eastern campaign, can afford to overlook this tempting array of rich tuif piizes.
