Odd Eyes beat the barrier and ran nearly her race. She was short. Watch her. Crossmolina cut off on turn, closed a big gap and finished strong. Juva is an acrobat. She quit badly. Royal Fan ran a bad race. Wing, place, 3 to 5. Odd Eyes, place, evens; show, 1 to 2. Crossmolina, show, 1 to 2. THIRD RACE-3-8 Mile. Purse 00. 2-year-olds. Selling. She bid fair to stay. Cho-teau is best in soft going and was iucky. He ran an improved race. Galena evidently dislikes mud. Has been well tried. Watch her. Pidalia ran a iair race and closed strong. She is good too. Champion Rose stopped after showing some speed. Ovando was green and high John Millin was green, too, and got away in a tangle. He is a grand looker and will give some account of himself. Jennie Riley, place, 3 to 5. Choteau, place, 4 to 1; show, 2 to 1. jJ02 FOURTH RACE 1 Mile. Purse 00. 3-year-olds. Allowances. Winner B. c. by Strathmore Ella F. Start good. Won easily. Survivor proved himself easily the best. He ran into the lead on the far turn and had no trouble afterward. Gauntlet ran his race. Ho is a fair colt and good in any sort of going, but Survivor was easily his master today. Ballista led to the half and than apparently sulked and would not try again.
