NOTES OF THE TURF. Gossip from San Francisco says: "John ONeill and Max Blumenthal have left for Hot Springs. Bill Beverly is the leading winner among the California bookmakers. Frank Eckert has taken John ONeills place in the Oakland and Ingleside rings." At Oakland this afternoon Tom Ryau will sell all his horses now racing in California. Among those to be sold are Dunois, Goal Runner, The Wooer, Dont Skip Me, Al and Montallade. First Call, Prince Blazes and Dare II. are also to be sold. The brown filly, by Lamplighter Kitty Clive, the property of T. C. McDowell, badly fractured her jaw at Ashland a few days ago. This is considered one of the best yearling fillies in Kentucky. George Boyd, Maximo Gomez, Alpen, Dr. Eichberg, Voter, Laverock and Empyrian ara the declarations from the Brighton Handicap made March 1. Subscriber. The first book on the last race at Oakland Thursday was killed by the judges. Ticker bets are not effected by the decision. Jockeys Irving and Rowden have signed to I ride for the Kensico Stable this year.
