Tullamore ran a good race but weakened slightly at the finish. Don Vallejo closed fast in the stretch. He stays well and can win in moderate company. Glen-gaber ran a fair race. Tarhill beat the gate and made a runaway race of it. He is an improving colt. So is Flush of Gold. Artilla was strongly backed, but did not run up to expectations. She has been highly tried and will do better. She and Beautiful Bill raced very green. The latter and Miss Vera also will bear watching. He withstood Corsinis challenge gamely and made the latter stop. Corsini was not at his best and his race, in view of his recent sickness, was a good one. Lime Water was badly handled. Olinthns was kept under a choking pull so long that he was exhausted when given his head. It was a bad looking ride. Scratched— 11165 First Tenor, 112. Los Medanos, place. 3 to 1; 6how, 7 to 10. David Tenny, place, evens.
