Lambent and Swiftmas were nearly left and had no chance when the flag fell against Continentals great tern of speed. Autumns bridle slipped just when he was making his run. Roysterer ran well to the last furlong, where the sharp pressure made him quit. Holland and Free Lance both closed fast in the stretch. Free Lance was a good horse today. He was shut off in the early part of it. Imperator chucked it up as usual. Fast Black is speedy. Watch him in this class.
