She broke in front, but was outrun the first part of it. At the head of the stretch the filly seamed beaten. 1 ut cprne fast under a hai d drive and got up in the final stride Laura G. 1. is not a staler. Stm had the m st speed of the party, but hune at the end. This filly w ill do on a hard track. Olive Order, off poorly, ran a good ge me race. Wasanta stopped and came again in the stretch. He stopped almost to a walk during the last twenty yards and wonld have been beaten in a few more strides. Jennie F. ran gamely and would have won with a more vigorous ride. Mr. Easton was bumped about and generally messed at the start. Considering this, bis race was a good one. Kings Guard finished strong. He was none too well handled Topbet and Red Gidd both stopped badly. Throw the formers race ont. Hanligbt mxy hive been short, at letst she ran that way. He is a good and useful racehorse Banquo II ran gamely. He out-stayed S mon D. at the end. The laUer was overweighted He swerved to favor his bad leg at the post.
