The track and buildings are rapidly being put in order and will be spick and span when racing opens next Monday Captain J. H. Rees will be the presiding judge and popular "Dick" Dwyer has been engaged to do tho starting, a selection that will please local patrons of racing. Word has been received that many of the best stables at St. Louis and Cincinnati will be headed for Chicago presently. Among them the stables of Bnrns and. Waternouse, Taibot ! Bros, with the crack John Brisht, H. J. Scog-gan and others equally well known.
