He was ncder tho whip from the half-mile post home. Silver Fizz was hardly ready. He was in front at one time in toe stretch, bat hung in the cloaing drive. Tildy Ann had no excuses. She was away flying, showed fine speed, but stopped under the weight at the end. Satan also weakened badly when tha pinch came. He is not of much account. The same can be eaid of Tommy OBrien. He got away flying and haa no excuses. Bettie R. showed some cpeed but not much. Florabird, place, 5 to 1; show, 2 to 1. Silver Fizz, place, oat. Tildy Ann, show, evens. Winner B. g, by Meddler Little Lady II. Off at the first break to a good start. Won very easily; the next two wero hard at it. Kings Highway plodded along behind the others for tbe first three quarters and then galloped over them as though they wera tied. It was a very bad lot, Golden Rod was wobbling all over the track at the finish. With a better ride Nettie Brooks would have bean sacond. Stewart rode her badly. Inverary II. finished strongly. Marietta II. quit with her mouth wide open. Maecagni had no excuses. He simply is of no account. Kings Highway, place, 3 to 1 ; show, 3 to 2. Golden Rod, place, 4 to 1 ; show, 2 to 1. Chauncey Fisher wai always in a good position and proved gamer than the others when the pinch came. Although driving hard he was fcoin? away at the end. Catastrophe had no excuses. He simply quit under a bard drive. The s lme commsnt can be applied to Chicopec. Theresa fl. showed a lot of spaed. The roue was too long for her. Jennie F. wa3 bumped into an! almost thrown on the first turn. But lor this she would have been a keen contender. Title was also bump6l into and jostled on the first turn. This ruined his chances. Galileo doesnt seem to be of much account. It was a very ordinary lot. Chauncey Fisher, place, 4 to 1; show, 8 to 5. Catastrophe, place, 8 to 5; Bhbw, 4 to 5. Cbic- opec, show, 6 to 5. Wincor B. f, by Rossington Marjory. Post 14 minutes. Start good. Won in a long hard drivo of two; third and fourth were driv ing also. Rosa Masso, on the outside, just got up in time to win. She was strongly ridden and Btood a long hard drive through the stretch gamely. The Bondman also ran a game, true race1. He was bsaten simply through the action of the nod. This colt seems to be improving and likes to go a route. Countess Irma was slow to get going, and consequently got into a bad mix-up on the first turn. But for this she would have been hard to beat. Goose Liver stopped badly in the stretch and swerved under punishment. Mark Annowan. He ran a good race. 8.0 did Malaise as far as she went Fintan was raced into submission chasing4the latter. Winner Br. f, by Pnrsebearer Hira Villa. Post 5 minutes. Start good. Won hand ridden, bat with something in reserve; second whipped out; third and fourth were driving to the limit. Unsightly was much the best and despite bad racing luck won as she pleased. It was a much better race than the filly ran when last out. Still, she was thrown on the fence and roughly treated in that race. Decoy is above the ordinary. He had a rough journej, but stood it gamely. The first two far outclassed the others. Considering it was Tamers first start, ha made a good showing. Anair II. improves with every start. Won cleverly at the end after a hard, early drive. The next three were doing their best. Lord Zenis race was a smashing good one. He appeared to be hopslestly beaten down the back stretch and on the far turn where he was away back and in a pocket. Rose bumped his way through at the head of the stretch and at once, when Lord Zeni got a clear path he easily outfooted the others. Canova ran a good raoe and stood a hard drive from the head of the stretch hi, me. As soon as it becomes muddy and perhaps before that Moroni will win. Aba Forst acted sourly at the post, refusing to break and after he aid get away seemed to sulk. Al Lone had speed to loan bat qait when the real racing began. After being badly shut off at the start Sim W. did well. Fair Deceiver, like Al Lone could not stand the pressure at the end Scratched 13932 Warren Point, 104; 13990 Bonnie lone, 102; 14155 Red Gidd, 101. Lord Zeni, place, 2 to 1 ; show, evens.
