Had Smith been able to help tbe geldiog in the last sixteenth he perhaps would have won. Harry Tbobarn ran above his notch on a fast track. Sim . looked dHDgerons at one lime in tbe stretcb, but he dimi away at the end. Mocorito was bumped and jostled. So was Rotterdam, who ran a good rac. H. tJ Tobacco baa no cbance from where he got away. Walkonshaw was the medium of a heavy plunge but he ran a bad race ana seemed to be of no account in such company.
