Winner B. g, by Bassetlaw Lulu. Post 5 minutes. Start fa r. Won in a drive; second and third also driving. Mont Eagle got away well on bis stride, had tli9 most speed and ran a winning race throughout. He was stopping at the end and Winkfield was compelled to go to the whip to stall off Macie Mareos rush The latter had bad luck all the way. With clear sailing she would probably have won. Fair American on the outside, finislnd strongly. He was never touched with tbe whip and finished on his own courage. Satan had no excuses He was off flying, had clear sailing, but ran a no account race. Fair Test will not do. The Lady showed no speed. Tekla had no chance from where he got away. Winner B. g, by Alarm or Pardee Meadow Lark. Post 8 minuteB. Start good. Won cleverly; the next three were driving to the limit. Double Dummy ran cne of bis best races. He was well ridden. Mitchell had him close to th rail, saved all the ground possible and rated the gelding to perfection. Considering Double Dummys good race Saturday, his vrice was far out of line. Barataria is in good form. The first time a strong boy is up on bim be will be hard to b9at. Bradford did the best he could but he is not strong enough to do him justice. Holdup acted sourly at the post, but after he got away ran a good race. Burns got shut off repeatedly on Jackanapes. Otherwise he would have been much closer to the winner. Croesus ran a dull race. Throw it out. Rotterdam seemed to bo galloping under a stout pull down the back stretch. The ride on him lacked earnestness. J. H. Smith claimf d Jackanapes out of the rce for 00. BnrnB beat the barrier, used good judgment and when the pinch came clearly ontfinished Conley and Flick on Hermoso and Andes As the race was run Andes perhaps should have won. He was in and out and all over the track down tbe back-stretch and never really got straightened out until in the last sixteenth. Then be finished with a tremendous rush. Hermoao showed high speed. He hung on longer than usual also. Iola ran a fine race. Mark her for early action. Sim W. was badly ridden. He was bumped about considerably down the back stretch and pocketed numerous times in tbe last quarter. Tenole had no excuses. He was off well, had clear sailing but could not last. Brnlare was badly interfered with down the backstretch and almost thrown. Donna Rita had no chance frcm where she got off. Scratched 15131 Glenmojne, 93; 15235 Pauline J.. 104. Winner B. h, by Salvator Lydia. Poet 12 minutes. Start straggling. The first two were driving to the limit. Salvable came to life with a start and ran one of tbe bast races of his life. He was ridden to perfection and came like a thunderbolt through the stretch. All rumors circulated about the horse being broken down were fairy tales and given out to make a price. Found showed her greatest rate of speed and over-raced herself to some extent. Great Bend ran a, much better race than he did when last out. Tenby bad no chance from where he got away. Starter Dwyer virtually left him at the pea. The hoi bs ran a fine race, and with an equal break would have been hard to b;at. The others were outclassed and fillers-in. Winner Ch. L c, by Watercress Paloma. Post 5 minutes. Start good. Won pulling up. The next four were doing their biat. Yellow Tail showed phenomenal sneed and clipped a half second from the track record. In fact he ran a high class race. The colt is a big, handsome fellow but weight seemi to bother him. Nettie Regent is a good, honest Qlly of the improving kind. Emma M. showed rise speed. 80 did In-look but he could not carry bia the full route. Them was too much speed and the route was to short for Ida Ledford. The Rush ran one of his bad races. Do not count this for him. Still be had the worst of the weights. Winner Ch. c, by Donatello Lady Rossington. Post 6 minutes. Start fair. Won driving; second, third and fourth were driving even harder. Jimp was tbe best and best ridden. He is a horse that has but onabarstof speed and Burns gesms to understand him and used it at the right time. Volandiea propped and seemed to sulk on the far turn but through the stretch became fast. Rosavannah after having all kinds of bod racing luck made a creditable showing. So did Pat Garrett, who was poorly ridden. Uhler seemed dangerous on the stretch turn but quit when the pinch came. Da Blaise showed a lot of speed. He Dilled uo quite lame. Miss Dooley was badly managed throughout.
