Antoniotta was at home in the going and scored an easy victory. Mitchell got the fillj off running and held the others safe all the way. Farrie, on the inside, finished with a tremendous rash and got second place in the last stride. La Carina, under strong handling, ran a good game race Miss Fee is p edy but not a stayer and when the pinch cams she quit. Watch Ophelia. This filly will prob-ibly get out of the maiden class before the meeting closss. Daisy O. will hardly do. The field was badly strung out at the finish. Winner B. g, by Fabulous Rupee. Po-t 5 minutes. Start good. Won easily; it waa a drive for second place. Facade is truly a useful horse in tho mud. He raced Blenheim into weariness in the first five furlongs, and after that had everything his own way. Ramlet was slow in leaving the posr, got badly interfered with on tbe first tain, and, everything considered, ran a creditable race. Holdup runs almost every day and ib always right there. Tip Gallant made up a lot of ground from the head ot the stretch home. Mr. Johnson seems to be of little or no present account. Still this race might b overlooked ts he got into a bad jam on the first turn and Mason had to take him up. Blenheim shot his bult racing with Facade early. Outside of the winner it was a bad lot. Worn easily tt the end after an early drive; second and third were doling ihsir best. Brownie Anderson is almost a stake filly ia tho mud. Sue was outrun down the bicksuecch but when the pinch came in tne stretch outsit yed the other two ilacod hordes. Red Cross II. ian an extra good race for him. Won driving; the next two were bard at it. Terrene was lucky, well ridden and perhaps the best of a bad lot. Tne latter was backed for a good tning" bnt was not goud enough to deliver the goous. This hureo has bunn recently ntrved and is not at his bast. Notwithstanding his recent hard races he appeareo fresh and good and was ready to inn tne race of his life. He got off flying and tow-roped his field. Maud Wallace was aa easily the best of the others today, Dcflimtf is not in his best form. He had no excaaes and ran as woll as ho was capablo of at present.
