GOSSIP OF THE TURF. The highly bred broodmares, belonging to the estate of tho late Simeon G. Reid, wore sold at auction in New York Wednesday night for very good prices, but the imported stallion Dun-combe did not elicit a bid and was necessarily retained. A few horses belonging to other owners were also. sold.
