Ye_t to post at 2:15. Off at the second break to a fair start. Won eased up; the next three were hard at it. Tenny Belle showed the most speed, liked the «oing. and made her field look cheap. She is a speedy filly, and if she could be broken of the habit of running out would be en- . titled to consideration in most any company. Enos kept her in cleverly in this race, and perhaps can ride her better than any other jockey. Tootsie Green had bad luck throughout, and ran a | Kond, game race. Peaches broke from behind running and did her very best. Under a poor ride . Bonuie Hallie made a good showing and closed an enormous gap through the stretch. Bride Ale i showed some speed, but not much. Floranthe was bumped and jostled at every turn, and this race can bo 1 1 ■ rown out so far as she is concerned. Lady Idris is an undersized filly and could not do herself justice in the hoavv going. " Scratched 18443Luerana, 107; 18672 Anxious, 104. % Overweights— Peaches, 5 pounds; Lady Idris. 101. She finished in the center of the track and after stopping once came again and just got up in time. Woodtrice was shut off shortly after the start and generally roughly treated throughout and ran a better race than did the winner. Bergen was np on Innovator, and that alone beat him. From a poor beginning Charley Moore made up a lot of ground and ran a smashing good race. Barney F. ran below the mark and Wilson rode a bad race on him. On the strength of his last performance his price was far out of line. Governor Budd was hard ridden all the way and ran his best. Myosotis fenced better than she did in her last race and ran an improved race. Dayton waited until the race was over before he made a move on Becky Rolfe. Last Past fenced well and can win soon. Durwad had a winning chance when he fell. Van Brunt bolted and carried Brakeman with him at the water jump in going the first time around. Molo is a mud runner of high degree, and under a perfect ride ran one of his best races. Bullman took matters easily at the finish and came within an ace of throwing the race away. The boy rode an excellent race up to the stage where he became careless. Bru-lare liked .the going and ran a smashing good race, but the route was entirely too long for her and she tired at the end. The Elector ran much below bis true form. He was never daugerous. Molo, place, 7 to 10; show, out. Brulare, place, 6 to 5; show, out. Won hand ridden but with something in reserve; second, third and fourth were doing their best. Sannazaro is a good colt that likes the mud and came with a sensational rush at the end. He could have won off by himself r but Bullman chose to draw the finish fine. Harry Herendeen liked the going, was well handled i and had no excuses. Dandy Jim hung at the end and Icon, coming with a terrific rush almost nipped him for third place. Lillie Pantland showed a lot of speed and likes the mud. Bat t us was in the deep going all the way. Icon ran a cracking good race and from his showing in this race evidently likes the mud. Overweights— Icon, 2 pounds; Sannazaro, 5. Sannazaro, place, evens; show, 1 to 2. At post 8 minutes. Start good. Won easily; second the same. Walkenshaw received a good ride and at the end made the others look cheap. He loves the mud and can carry weight like a major. Frangible improved suddenly from his last race and, like Walkenshaw, ran a good race. Lomond showed his usual amount of speed, but at the end was tiring badly. Castake can perhaps do better. He showed very little speed, and from all indications was not "meant." Bishop Reed ran below the mark He is a good mudder, and for him this race will not do. Walkenshaw, entered to be sold for 00, was bid up to .-jiSOO by S. Wagner, but retained by H. Robinson.
