ROBERT WADDELL AGAIN Pa Bradleys Derby candidate Robert Wad nell was again the hero at Worth yesterday and tho handsome way in which the unsexed son of Aloha Virgie both of which raced on Chicago tracks in their day disposed of Oper ¬ ator was pleasing to those who hold tickets on the Bradley gelding at a long price in the American Derby DerbyRobert Robert Waddell was asked to concede Oper ¬ ator Hardy Durhams Derby hope 10 pounds and gelding allowance in a special race at one mile and this he did in good style Operator is no slouch of a colt himself but in no way can he be compared with Robert Waddell This pair each ridden to perfection gave the enormous crowd a grand rnn for its money and racing like a team from flag fall to finish they were cheered to the echo every inch of the way Operator who had the rail hold a small advan ¬ tage a quarter part of the journey but when the real test came he was compelled to give way gracefully to his superior The race although not a fast one was a good one and most pleasing to tho eye eyeIt It was strictly favorites day and the ring must have lost a ton of money as five first choices and one second choice won wonThe The Hawthorns crowd backed Impromptu from soda to hock and tho colt with little J Martin up delivered the goods handsomely handsomelyThe The Rush who seems to be about tho beet sprinter at tho track beat the field opposed to him with ease and incidently clipped a fifth of a second from the track record for six farlougs farlougsThe The weather was clear and cool the track fast and what has become a usual occurrence an enormous crowd was on hand handHarry Harry Stover with Kenilworth and the rest of his stable will ship to Toronto today
