CAP AND HELLS OAKS Mr James R Keenes Olympian failed in tha Epson Derby but his beautiful filly Cap and Bells brought a measure of consolation yester ¬ day by winning the kindred event for fillies the Oaks Before being sent to England Cap and Bells proved herself last year one ot the fleetest filliee ever seen on the American turf and to such fame as she then achieved is now added the glory of being the first Americanbred filly to carry off Englands greatest race for horses of her sex and age The Oaks is a guaranteed stake of the value of 220000 and is rnn over the Derby course In this country Cap and Bells started throe times winning the Criterion Stakes at Gravesend Spinster Stakes at Brigh ¬ ton Beach and ran unplaced in the Futurity
