NOTES OF THE TURF The yearling bay filly by His Highness But ¬ terflies both winners of the Futurity Stakes has bten named Fntnrita by her breeders Messrs Gideon Duly The filly is royally bred and if she races as well as she has been named she will turn out to be a good one She has been nominated in the Futurity Stakes of 1902 and should she be fortunate enough to win it would be a great triumph for logical breed ¬ ing In any event the future of this young miss will be watched with interest interestMr Mr Clarence Mackayis reported to have pur ¬ chased from 8 C Hildroth the fast twoyear old colt Brunswick by St Carlo Sloe for 12000 Brunswick was a sensational performer at Ban Francisco four and onehalf furlongs in 531 being among his winning performances On his California form he is worth the sum said to huv been paid for him
