TWO RACES FOR DUNNE Pat Dunne the popular horseman was very much in evidence yesterday at Washington Park double shooting tho gamo with Admoni ¬ tion and Toab Tho first named took the days j opener in an easy manner leading by a short margin up to tho final straightaway where he came away in a bound and won almost as he pleased by three lengths from Reseda who beat Henry Burt ono for second place Tho much drummed Bonoy Boy ran in second position until in the final quarter whero he appeared to IQVO a Quo chance but died away in tho last eighth finishing a poor fifth Canmore the California crack colt ran a dull race but had little chance after his cut off at tho club house turn being compelled to swing very wide losing some lengths He moved up onto his field after that and had a fair position at tho stretch entry but made no headway from there on fin ¬ ishing a poor fourth Thero was a hot tip out on Dissenter but he never was a contender at any part of the race raceToah Toah the second winner for Dunno ran a fine race in the fourth a six furlongs daeh Emma R led by a good margin to the final eighth whero she tired and loah who had always boon close up darted into tho lead holding it to the end and winning easily by two lengths from Flenron who came with a rush in tho last fifty yards and nipped Sim W on the post by a hoad for second place Minyon on whom many de ¬ pended to take the race tired and quit badly when the pinch came finishing a poor sixth Maggie Davis ran a fair race but quit a little in the last sixteenth sixteenthNellie Nellie Wa ddoll was in great fettle yesterday having no trouble whatever in taking the youngster race tho second a daeh of fiva fur ¬ longs Off well she dashed to tho front and remained there to tho end winning easily by two lengths from Helen Print who finished a length and a half before Julia Jnnkin Magi was supposed to be the good thing but was in a fretful mood and hardly in a condition to race at her beat She put up a dull performance Rosewar on which Bullman bad the mount was virtually left at the post Golden Glitter ran a fair race raceTho Tho long distance race was taken by Schorrs Tammany Chief who under punishment after the first six fnrlocgs had been run stuck to his work and finally won by a length from Frang ¬ ible wbo beat tho fast closing Waldeck a half longth for second place Anthracite for a spoil appeared as if she was going to run away with the purse but she faltored in tho final eighth and was pretty well exhausted by tho timo the line had been reached Enightbanneret was a keon contender up to a sixteenth out but tired in the closing strides stridesTho Tho Four Hundred captured the last race in rather an easy mannor coming with a rush in tho last sixteenth and fairly romping away from his field He was by far the best J V Eirby made bis move at the right timo but was unable to overtake the winner Red Hook showed im provemant over his previous races and is due for a bracket Lapidns was rank for fonr and a half furlongs and then faded away awayFifteen Fifteen thousand persons were present and witnessed a good days eport eportAbe Abe Frank is carded to start in the Edgewater Stakes this afternoon and curiosity will be rife concerning the way he will perform after his escapade of last week The card is very taking a handicap at a mile and an eighth promising a high class race raceIt It presents several of the horses that ran eo brilliantly in tho Young Handicap besides some speedy ones that were not engaged in that
