Lady Elite ran in much improved form and clearly showed Bhe does not like soft or muddy going, as she was hopelessly beaten off in her last effort. Einus ran well for a half mile. Strangest was pocketed next to the inside rail in the last eighth, or he would have been closer up at the end. Boiling Boer had enough when a furlong out, as did also Searcher. Amirante could not extend herself well in the hard going. Bhe runs best in the mud. Stella Perkins race waB not to the mark. She is an in and outer and is hard to guess.
