Water Cure, fresh and good, displ yod amazingly early speed and far ontclasssd the field. He is in great form and came through with a ruth in the worst going in the last furlong. Doublet ran a remarkably speedy and game raca and was going very strongly at the end. Rosormonda finishad fast. bhe is fresh and probably in her bist form. Varro showed a high tnrn of speed, but tired , at the end. Mehanus had apparently plenty in reBervo during tho first half, but he failed signally in the stretch. His recent races in the mud wero responsible for this. This raco will improvo him for fast track conditions, Tho Fretter ran a good race, but waa handicapped by being in tha deepest going next to the rail in first part of tho trip.
