Tyranus broke badly and was used up in racing into a prominent position in the first half and quit badly. Dulcimer appeared to have a chance in the stretch. Porous was knocked back at the start. Hungarian did well and is evidently again in good form and with a heavy track will show to advantage. King Dellia failed to show any winning speed and can do better. Midnight Chimes was outclassed and failed to stay. Gibraltar appeared to be the winner to the stretch, where he Bulked and quit almost to a walk. Vesuvian was interfered with at the stretch turn but finished very strongly. Water Cure, pocketed next to the rail and badly interfered with, ran a fine race but was overweighted. Autoligat, off several lengths in the rear of the field, closed a tremendous gap bat was unable to find an opening in the stretch, was badly crossed at a critical stage and was probably best. Rosormonde went remarkably well for one so eore. Icicle made the pace nnder a pull to the stretch and failed when called on. Gre fold was badly interfered with at the start.
