LOCAL TURF GOSSIP. Tom Wallace, which was a carded starter in tho fifth race, fell in his preliminary gallop and by permission of the judges was excused from starting and an interval of twenty minutes allowed. Many horsemen have Bent their horses to the Worth track and Secretary Nathanson and his assistants find it difficult to fill the races. Judge John F. Herodiade and Montanic will in future be barred from starting at Harlem on account of their unruly actions at the post.
