Buccleuth appeared lik the winner to the last one hundred jards, but South Breezes rush caught him napping. Edgardo ran a good race and finished strongly. Biil Massie and Prosper La Gai wore themselves out racing in front. Schwal he, off badly, never got in her stride, was twice cut off and pocketed, lost five lengths on the first turn and by no means ran her race.
