Deck law. away forwardly. forced and set a fast pace and. saving ground on the turn and securing the path in the Stretch, held the others safe to the end. No Quarter ran a good race and was going well and gamely at the end. Buren Arnold came fast in the stretch from a slow beginning. Odd Trick suffered from slight interference on the stretch turn, but ran well. Nedra tired after going a good hall, showed early apeed and was in the heat going. Soprano had a rough trip and suffered much by crowding. Sir Vagrant was repeatedly jammed and crowded and unseated his rider after going three furlongs. Helen Lucas was Banffy handled and kept in the heavy going, but tinished fast. Rockingham can do niucn better. The winner was entered for Jjt.MlO; no bid. Scratched — 00154 Impertinence. 99. Lady Henrietta ran fairly well and. lietter handled, would have been a Bhatf factor. Tichimingo ran poorly. The winner, entered for 1907.sh00. was bid up to 81,000 by S. Louis and was retained. Daring showed good form ami waa a sharp factor all the way. Wis. probably much the best, ran well to the stretch and will show improvement. Charlatan ran a bad race and Is best in mud. St. Valin-tiue ran fairly well and seemed a certain winner on the stretch turn, but was tiring fast in the race through the stretch. James Beddiek was also a sufferer from interference and finished gamelv when clear. Florizel showed the most early speed, but quit after going three-quarters. Brittanby, away running, showed the most early speed, but tired after going a good half and barely lasted long enough to save third place. Bad Pirate showed improvement and tinished gamely.
