Wooltessa ran to her best form, fought it out hard through the stretch with Daeaaa and won out gaitel.v in the closing strides. The latter, probably best, ran a good race, but was pearl* handled ami Urhag at tlu- tinish. Knighton showed speed to the stretch, but tired badly after going a good half. .V.adenia ran fairly well and did the liest she could. The Clad Corsair was close up throughout. Miss Willie, running; green and weakly handled, can do much better and has worked well. The winner .vas entered for 9008; no bid. Scratched — C. J. Cox, 110. Dick Rose, away running and showing the most s| eed under a hard drive, ran straight throughout and finished resolutely. Blue Lee, also hard ridden and lucky, was gaining at the end and ran a gixxi race. Toro was a forward contender from the start, ran an excellent nice and will improve. Antome showed early speed, ran wide most of the way and finished tiring. Ilyon. a good looker, rau green. No E mine was pulled up at the start, seemed to go sluggishly all the way, can do much better and will show improvement. Scratched — Ben Baker, 112. De Oro was a forward contender for the first half, but tired in the stretch drive. Voting suffered from crowdiag in the early stages and seemed to sulk thereafter. The others were always outrun. Missouri Lad ran a good race anil showed much speed, but tired slightly when called on strongly for a final effort. St. Valentine Snriahed gamely, but could not concede the weight. Terns Rod came from a long way back in the last •Barter and tinished with a rush. Lady 1llison tired after going throe-quarters. Dromio showed si«:ed for a half and forced a fast pace. Fire Alarm was under hard restraint in the early stages and assumed the lead after going three-quarters, but tired near the end. Lady Viniont showed sudden improvement and hi ished with a rush through the stretch. Western ran fairly well and is showing improvement. L. S. L. quit badly as if short and can do much better. Associate was almost thrown soon after the start. Ilaifanlaal had her chances destroyed by a jam soon after the start. The winner was entered for 00; no bid.
