NOTES OF THE TURF. There are now over 200 horses at Jamaica and the number is increasing every day. It is said that J. B. Respess Is paying ,500 for first call on the services of jockey J. Lee this year. Montgomery, the winner of the Crescent City-Derby, has arrived at Belmont Park aud is in good condition. Alderman Tim, by Senator McCarren. out of Campania, is a two year old of T. D. Sullivans own breeding. Leo Mayer and Eddie Burke, the bookmakers, were injured in an automobile smashup returning to New York from Aqueduct Monday. Jockey Fuller is at Aqueduct, apparently fully restored to health, and he says he will try to ride again, though he has some apprehension as to his success. Paul J. Rainey says De Maad needed the race that he got. in the Carter Handicap and he predicts that he will be a mighty hard horse to beat from this time ou. Furthermore, he has no doubt that the son of Uoldfijich will go a mile or farther.
