Bun-vegan, under strong handling, ran as if illicit the best, took the lead soon after the start and won all the waj wilh plenty in reserve. J. S. McAlister was prominent all the way, stood the final drive gamely and finished fast. Reall tried to bear out on the first turn, but came fast in the stretch and put up a good t.erioi mance. Major Mack tired after going three furlongs. Third Rail showed improvement and ran fairly well. Cilvedear. poorly handled and swerving in Hie stretch, can do much lietter. Bhow lag suddenly improved form, feaced well and led by a wide margin until at the final jump, where she tired, but had enough in reserve to outstay Killdoc. The latter was stiff and sore when going to the post and fenced poorly. Lady Jocelyn ran badly. Narati ii.t sluggishly in the early stages and broke down after going over the seventh jump. Or. The latter Saved much ground and finished going gamely and fast. Victorene llaunon, showing a good performance, suffered from interference in the first quarter and came with a rush at the end. Brimmer ran sluggishly oljcnt wont wide most of the trip and ran fairly well. Louis Roederer showed improvement .and was prominent throughout.
