May Not Extend Fort Erie Meeting, Daily Racing Form, 1907-08-17

MAY NOT EXTEND FORT ERIE MEETING Buffalo. N. Y., August 10. No official announcement has been made, but there Is talk hero that it is likely that the Fort Erie meeting will not be extended to September 14. It is believed that it will close at the end of this month or in the first week in September. Too many horses and people have gone elsewhere to make the extension a paying proposition, it is believed.
