Mary F.. off in a jam, ran sluggishly to the stretch turn and was in close quarters next to the rail all of the final eighth, but finished fast on her own courage. I.a Chata beat the barrier and showed much speed for five furlongs, then tired. Mintia finished fast. Louise Fitzgibbon showed early speed. The winner was en-tertd for MM; no bid.
