I COLINS CASE SEEMS SOMEWHAT BETTER New York May 29 Colin docs not seem to be so badly off as reports had it yesterday The usual first remedies were applied and while the swelling has not gone down the colt walked about his stall without taking a lame step Just at present those in charge of him seem to he at sea as to the out ¬ come but it is not considered probable that he will race again at least this season seasonA A striking illustration of tho Importance a horse Hike Colin holds In the news o a days events was ishown today when all but two of the big morning daily papers printed the story of his injuries on the airst page some of them giving it the preferred space of all Jn every paper the story ran over n column and there probably are not more than a dozen men in the city to whom tho same space would have been given had they been badly injured Todays papers surely furnished the best material Jn favor of the sport seen during the campaign against racing inaugurated by Governor Hughes
