ELLISON GIVES MAYBERRY TWO HORSES New York August 20 C II Ellison of Chicago has had much hard luck with horses for which he paid big money He paid 6000 for Earls Court and 500 for Annies Sister but botli were such failures that he gave them Tuesday to J P May berry the owner of Robin Hood Ellison paid 1 000 for a yearling colt two years ago and named him Governor Hughes At the request of the Jockey Chili he changed the name to Sir Navarre but this colt ptoved totally worthless and was sold for a song to a man Avho tried in vain to win a race with him at Havana Sir Navarre Is now dragging an asli cart in the Cuban capital
